Go Vikes!!!

Long ago my father and I would watch football games and slowly but surely I grew up to be a Vikings fan. Living in Northern Iowa, the only remotely local teams were the Vikings, The Packers, maybe the bears and the Cheifs, but the Vikes were always closest, and Purple is cool.

Over the years I have never seriously considered NOT being a Vikings fan, even though other teams have had more success, and the Vikes have had some pretty low lows. They have come very close to going to the Superbowl once or twice that I recall but usualy don't get far or even into the playoffs. I don't care. They are my chosen team.
