Listening to Crystal Method Tweekend I realised a new way to hook up my system & maybe get some phatter sounds (I said "phatter"?)

started with a basic rebirth loop I had laying around that I piped through a JP8080 & fiddled with a bit.

Getiing an idea of what I needed led to a standard rebirth song which evolved into the first ahab then another rebirth track mixed in to produce the final version.

Previously I'd have only been able to get the sound from the first rebirth song... not nearly as full or complicated as the final version. Of course the samples are unnecesary but I couldn't resist putting them in.

Sadly the mp3 compression on these files seems to have removed some sounds :( the one that is most noticable to me is the high pitched roboticised noise that used to preceed the "we don't take no shit..." sample in the ahab.mp3 file... ah well, such is life.
