Another Alien Encounter

it's past 4am...

This makes me think of walking along a roadway on some far away planet at night with a flashlight and having an encounter with an alien.

It came about while playing with my desktop background image. Some cutting & pasting and transparency twiddling I began thinking about some sort of nuclear blast modeling software, about arranging a series of atomic or nuetron warheads is such a pattern so as to create blast resulting in a desired effect - like a psedo singularity for use as power or gravitational lensing... However, I wound up with this image.
